Adding to a successful election cycle that was already highlighted by an August clean sweep and two major awards from Campaigns & Elections, HighGround took home the Gold last week from the American Association of Political Consultants. At the AAPC Annual Pollie Awards and Conference, HighGround won a total of five Pollie awards including one gold, three silvers, and a bronze recognition for their work on candidate and public affairs campaigns.
Working with the campaign to re-elect Peoria councilmember Bridget Binsbacher, the team earned three awards including recognition for Automated Calls – Local, Best Use of Unusual Phone Techniques, as well as Walk/Handout piece. The HighGround team was also recognized in the categories of Public Affairs Direct Mail as well as another accolade for Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman’s famous egg-shaped yard sign adding to its trophy case earning honors in the Yard/Outdoor sign category.
This marks the 15th year in a row that HighGround has earned recognition from the AAPC. Click here to see the winners.
Dubbed “…the Oscars of political advertising,” by Esquire magazine, the Pollie Awards are some of the most prized awards for professionals in the political communications and public affairs industries. The awards are judged by a blind jury of peers and only a handful of entries are selected to receive recognition.
