Campaigns & Elections magazine held their 4th annual Reed Awards dinner last Friday night to recognize some of the year’s best political and public affairs work. See the complete list of winners.
HighGround earned top honors for “Toughest Mail Piece” for the direct mail newspaper developed for the Wolcott for Mayor campaign. Wolcott successfully ran for for Mayor of Surprise earning 55% of the vote in the run-off. HighGround helped Wolcott launch a comprehensive communication strategy including her “JET” initiative and driving a chorus of free media on several critical fiscal issues. The newspaper piece was mailed to the voters and served as a summary of all of the stories as ballots arrived in voters’ mailboxes.
