Political consultants HighGround, Inc., in conjunction with
their strategic partners are gaining national attention winning "Pollie"
awards for their creative products during the last few campaign
seasons. The "Pollie" awards are the "Oscars"
of the political consulting business and are considered the
most prestigious national awards in politics. The American Association
of Political Consultants presents them annually.
In the Internet category, the site Yeson206.org developed by HighGround partnering with Mighty Interactive snagged a Gold in the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional Amendment: Statewide” section.
In the Internet Advertising category, HighGround and its Internet partner, Mighty Interactive, scored a Silver Award for the innovative Pointroll ads that were featured in the Yes on 206 campaign in the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional Amendment” category.
In the Phone Calls category, HighGround took home a pair of Bronze Awards for the hilarious “Let’s Stick it to Mesa” automated phone call. The award placed in both the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional Amendment: Local/Municipal/Regional” and the “Best Use of Humor” Category.
In the Direct Mail category, an Honorable Mention for the “Don’t Stick it to Mesa” mailer in the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional Amendment: Local/Municipal” section.
In the Internet category, an Honorable Mention for YesforMesa.com in the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional Amendment: Local/Municipal/Regional” section
In the Newspaper Advertisements category, the Protect Flagstaff's
Future - Freedom ad was the only national winner recognized
in the "Full-Page,
Local Ballot Measure"category winning a bronze award.
In the Radio Advertisements category, the Kick-off 60-second
ad placed first nationally for an “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment” campaign.
In the Internet category, HighGround
and its Internet partner, Mighty Interactive, scored a first
place for the Yeson400.com site in the “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment” category.
This is the third year in a row that HighGround and Mighty
Interactive have won honors for their work on political websites.
In the Internet category, HighGround and Mighty
teamed up for a third place honor for the interactive map developed
for Yeson400.com in the “Most Innovative Use of Technology” being
edged out by the Bush/Cheney online effort and a Washington
DC firm developed campaign tool that plays videos on a palm
pilot.
In the Radio Advertisements
category, an Honorable Mention for the “Father/Daughter”
radio ad for an “Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment.”
In the Collateral
category, an Honorable Mention for the very popular Fold
out Transportation Improvements Map.
And also in the Internet
category, an Honorable Mention in the “Best Use of
Email/Viral Marketing” category for the “Deep
Thoughts” emails that excerpted quotes from Prop 400 opponent
Dave Thompson.
In the Internet/Electronic Media category, HighGround, its
Internet partner, Mighty Interactive, and Cambigue Design ranked
first nationally in the "Local Initiative/Referendum
Website" for the successful and effective www.yeson414.com
website.
In the Television
Advertisements category, Proposition
201's "Joe
Arizona" 60-second ad placed first nationally for an "Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment" campaign.
In the Technology, Websites and Banner/Pop Up Advertisements
category, HighGround and its Internet partner, Mighty Interactive,
was awarded "Best Use of Email" for their "Chris
is Missing" email. The award-winning email was a detailed account
of the poor attendance record of former state Senator Chris
Cummiskey. The email was developed for the Jan Brewer for Secretary
of State campaign.
In the Automated Phone Calls category, HighGround took the
top national honor for the "Joe Arizona, 'This is the State
of Arizona... Just Kidding'" automated call made for an "Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment."
In the Radio Advertisements category, a Second Place for Proposition
201's "Joe Arizona-Do the Math" radio ad for an "Initiative/Referendum/Constitutional
Amendment."
In the Technology, Websites and Banner/Pop Up Advertisements
category, HighGround and Mighty Interactive received an Honorable
Mention for "Best Overall Internet Campaign" for "Joe
Arizona-Yes on 201."
